He completed his basic medical education from Kasturba Medical College Manipal, Karnataka & post graduation from DNB from Prabha Eye Clinic and Research Centre, Bangalore , followed by a Fellowship in Cornea and anterior segment at Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai. His main interests include LASIK, Femto Lasik and Keratoconus. He is a Life time Member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Karnataka Ophthalmological Society, Delhi Ophthalmological society, Bangalore Ophthalmological Society, Cornea Society of India and Eye bank Association of India
