INTER-COLLEGIATE SPORTS FEST 2023
On 9th and 10th march 2023, we participated at Inter Collegiate Sports Fest conducted by Netradhama School of optometry,where our team grabbed prizesfor womens cricket, spot kick, andrunners up in volleyball and 100 m relay race at VET sports ground, Bengaluru.
Our interns Ms Shrijana Chaudhary and Ms Preeti Rana attended VOPTO 2022(Vinayaka mission research foundation Optometry conference) , on 9 th and10 th April ,2022 at Selam,Tamil Nadu where they achieved 1 st and 3 rd prizes respectively for presentation of their research .
At ASCON 2022(Association of schools and colleges of Optometry Conference), held on 9 th and 10 TH October 2022 at NIMHANS auditorium,Bengaluru ,Our HOD, Mr.Diwakar Rao,received the best Faculty award
At 3 rd IVI(Indian Vision Institute) International Optometry Conference held at IIT Madras,Chennai,Tamil Nadu on 14 th October,2022,for young researchers trophy -our Intern Mr Niraj Kafle hadpaper presentation of his research on Head tilt

Our faculty Miss Aparajita Kar received 1 st prize in e-poster presentation competition and our intern Miss Swastika Adhikari received 3 rd prize in paper presentation competition in CVI(Cortical Visual Impairment ) and Low Vision Conference(What and how does my child see Version 4.0) on 28 th and 29 th January,2023,organized by Narayana Nethralaya eye foundation ,at RG Royal hotel ,Bengaluru .
GLAUCOMA WEEK
A Poster presentation competition was held at our own hospital VIIO ,Bengaluru,for world glaucoma week on 4 th march , 2023 where our 3 rd year students Tejaswini A and Ranjitha B.N received 1 st and 2 nd prizes respectively
Reflektionz, an inter collegiate 2 days fest was held on 11th and 12th October, 2023 at Sankara college of optometry,Bangalore,where our team bagged the 1stprize in cultural competition(Vikum in photography) ,runners up prizes(Aditya in photography,Sahaana & Sneha in Rangoli)
