  1. Diploma in ophthalmology in 2005 from Minto Regional Institute of Ophthalmology , Bangalore Medical college , Bangalore affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
  2. MS in Ophthalmology in 2009 from Christian Medical College, Vellore, affiliated to MGR University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

  • Dr. Vandana Sayra making a presentation on Capsulorrhexis management in intume- scent cataract at Abhivandana 18 -CME program held at Bengaluru.
  • Cataract surgery in Coloboma eyes - presented at BOS conference held on 23rd June 2018.

Areas of interest

Key areas of interest are Cataract, Ocular surface diseases- Dry Eyes, ocular allergy and immunological disorders of the cornea

Phaco emulsification, small incision cataract surgery, pterygium surgeries, keratoplasties , ocular surface reconstruction and limbal stem cell transplantation. Lacrimal sca surgeries like DCT & DCR.

Refractive surgeries LASIK , Epi LASIK

Actively involved in the formal and informal teaching program of postgraduates and optometry students
