Archana Murthy is a senior consultant in Ocular Prosthesis Dept at Prabha Eye Clinic and Vittala International Institute of Ophthalmology. She is the founder of the first comprehensive ocular prosthesis clinic in Karnataka, having vast experience of more than 13 years. More than 2000 patients have been fitted with customised ocular prosthesis. She has peer reviewed articles published in national journals. She has been the recipient of the overall best paper award at the Karnataka Ophthalmic Conference. She was an invited speaker at Kruger, South Africa by OASA. She also fits prosthesis on painful blind eye which is named as MADE FOR CONVENIENCE .She fits iris painted scleral shells on discolored eye and hollow prosthesis for enucleated eyes without implant.
She is a trained classical singer and has given several shows on AIR and television. Her hobbies include painting too.
